A view that reminds me of something I saw when I was a child. I think it’s a work that makes you sad, nostalgic, endearing and mysterious. From the negatives I had taken daily, I selected photos that evoked such feelings and carefully printed them on washi paper. The irregular material of the washi paper created an image that seemed to have been ripped directly from my vague memories.
